Yoga

Yoga, an ancient Indian Discipline, seeks to unify the body, mind and spirit through physical postures, breathing excercises and meditation. Students of yoga enjoy improved strength, flexibility, body awareness, reduced stress and improved posture, circulation and digestion.

Students are guided through proper alignment and breath control in a safe, nurturing environment. Class level appropriate for all ages and abilities.


Pilates and Matwork

Pilates,a 70 year old excercise technique, was developed by Joseph Pilates for rehabilitation. After immigrating to New York his technique was embraced by ballet and modern dancers such as Martha Graham. Today, Pilates has been embraced by a wide variety of students of all ages and abilities for it's overall conditioning. Benefits include lengthened, toned muscles, improved posture and core strength.

Yoga- Pilates Fusion

A fun integration of the strengthening postures of yoga with the dynamic series of Pilates. A balanced class to unite the benefits of both disciplines.


Brett Garry is a certified yoga instructor, Pilates instructor and dancer. She has completed the rigorous training of yoga master Ana Forrest and her style continues to integrate this therapeutic and insightful technique. Additional training includes Yoga for the special child with Sonia Sumar and Yoga Anatomy training with Tias Little. Brett completed her Pilates Matwork instructor training at Water Stone, Chicago. She recently spent one year in Indonesia studying traditional dance and brings her love of movement to her Yoga and Pilates practice.
Our Current Schedule is:
Monday 6-7pm (Pilates)
Wednesday 8-9pm (Pilates)
Friday
12 Noon -1pm(Yoga-Pilates fusion)
5:30-6:30pm (Pilates)

As of October 16th, the new schedule will be as follows:
Monday 6-7pm (Yoga)
Wednesday
6-7pm (Pilates)
7-7:30pm (stretch class)
7:30-8:30pm (Pilates)
Friday
12 Noon - 1pm (Yoga-Pilates fusion)
5:30pm (Pilates)
